The Amerind Museum's Annual Texas Canyon Trail Run is a 5K and 10K featuring spectacular scenery. The Texas Canyon area is home to quartz monzolite rock formations that are sure to capture the attention of runners and walkers on the course. The trail crosses through fields of yucca and cacti along with other desert vegetation. The canyon is historically significant to Native Americans and it is said that Cochise used it as a winter camp. 
 
The run takes place Saturday, April 4, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. from the Amerind Museum, 2100 N. Amerind Road in Dragoon. Entry fees are $40 for adults and $30 for youth (pre register online.) Admission to the museum is also included in registration price.
