Buckskin Mountain State Park

Buckskin Mountain State Park is a fabulous spot for water recreation. Boating, skiing, jet skiing, swimming and camping are just a few of the activities for visitors to experience at Buckskin and River Island. The park has great mountain and river views along with a variety of hiking trails, organized campgrounds, a sandy beach and a boat launch.
The park is also fine for a winter getaway with its mild temperatures and scenic views. It's also the best time for hiking. Trails take visitors to scenic overlooks or to a series of abandoned mines in the area. Guided walks are organized throughout the year at the local ranger station. An easy 25-mile drive to the north leads to Lake Havasu and the famous London Bridge.
Entrance to the park is $10 per vehicle (up to 4 adults), $3 per individual/bicycle. Camping fees are $30 for a cabana site and $30-33 for sites with water and electric hookups.
