Cataract Lake

Cataract Lake is a small fishing lake located near the town of Williams. At 35 acres and a depth of about 12 to 25 feet, it is not as heavily fished as other lakes in the region. Those who make the trip will find sunfish, catfish, largemouth bass and rainbow trout. There is no fee to enter the area but an Arizona fishing license is required
The lake is accessible spring through fall. Take I-40 to exit 161 and go north. At 6,800 feet elevation, the lake is a nice respite in summer.
