Cave Creek Museum


Visit the Cave Creek Museum to learn about the people who played a significant role in the history of this area including Native Americans, miners, ranchers and interestingly, tuberculosis patients. The museum houses a variety of exhibits both inside and outside of the building. Interior displays include Native American artifacts and pioneer history. A walk outdoors leads to a variety of mining equipment, an old Episcopal church and the last existing tubercular cabin in Arizona. The grounds also include a variety of desert plants and a beautiful sculpture garden.
The museum is open seasonally from October through May. Hours are Wednesday/Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is closed on most major holidays. Admission is $5 per adult, $3 for seniors, $2 for students 12 and over. Children under 12 are admitted free.
