Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area


The Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area offers a variety of multi-use trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The trails provide great views of the area and feature interesting geologic features. Huge granite boulders and quartz outcroppings dot the area along with remnants of old mining activity. The best times to visit are fall through spring when temperatures are more comfortable. Summers days can be quite hot.
Several trail systems are accessible near Kingman. The Camp Beale Loop is a 3.2 mile multi-use trail with mesa top views. Monolith Gardens Loop features 7 miles of trails used primarily by hikers and mountain bikers. Badger and Castlerock Trails have great variety of desert vegetation and views. Coyote Pass Trailhead north of Kingman has ample parking for horse trailers. Trail descriptions and additional information about trail conditions can be obtained from the BLM office in Kingman at 2755 Mission Boulevard.
