Scottsdale's inaugural Grand Prix event is creating lots of buzz! This unique racing event will wind through the streets of Scottsdale and celebrates the Roaring 20's era of automobiles. Custom vintage karts will draw racing fans from all over the country as these creative machines make their way along the course. Drivers will even be outfitted in 1920s era clothing and race gear. The race kicks off with the Mayor of Scottsdale leading the entrants to the race starting point. The race is expected to feature 32 replica karts (the number of vehicles in the first Grand Prix in 1901.) Among the designs will be Bugatti, Ferrari and American favorites from Ford and Dodge. 
 
The Grand Prix takes place on November 5, 2017. The course begins on Marshall Way Bridge in the Scottsdale Waterfront district, down East Via Soleri Drive, south on Goldwater Blvd., across 5th Avenue making a hairpin onto Marshall Way, east on 3rd Avenue, north on Craftsman Court, west on 5th Avenue and north on Stetson to Marshall Way Bridge and the finish line. Spectators can watch the festivities free along the race course. VIP Passes range from $49 to $129 and include a host of amenities leading up to and after the event.
