Whiskey Row Marathon

Details:

Whiskey Row Marathon is not for the faint of heart. One of the most rugged and scenic marathons in the country, the race starts at 5,200 feet elevation and then climbs to 7,000 feet in the first seven miles. After that, the course drops to 5,600 feet at the half-way point before climbing back to 7,000 feet. Then it's downhill on the return to downtown Prescott. The first and last 5 miles are on paved road with the remainder on scenic forest service roads.
The start and finish location of the Wiskey Row Marathon and Half-Marathon is on what is affectionately called "Whiskey Row". In the center of Prescott, Arizona, and across from Courthouse Square, the Palace Bar (Saloon) is the official starting place. Whiskey Row Marathon has been run every year for the last 37 years. Upon finishing the race, plan to relax, stretch and enjoy the many refreshments available to the runners.
This run is on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
